Skip to main content   Gallery Sponsors Contact Important Update The safety, health and wellbeing of our entire community is always our top priority in planning the Avon Heritage Duck Tape® Festival – including that of our guests, volunteers, staff and more. Which is why, during this uncertain time, the Festival committee, Duck®brand, and the City of Avon have collectively decided to cancel the 2020 Avon Heritage Duck Tape Festival originally scheduled for June 25-27, 2020. We did not make this decision lightly; it was based on the ongoing recommendations of public health officials and government agencies to ensure we are doing all we can to keep our family, friends, neighbors and colleagues protected. In addition, we were not fully confident that it will be safe to celebrate in a mass gathering in June. We thank you for your continued support for and involvement in our event – which was going into its 17th year – and we look forward to celebrating with you in 2021. Cars can and will be ticketed. Parking is available inside Veterans Memorial Park where there will be a free shuttle available approximately 90 minutes prior to the start of the parade. The Shuttle will transport from all back parking lots to near the Detroit road exit. In addition this free shuttle will be running during all festival hours .
